This historic home in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood was full of rich, warm woods with the most beautiful bones, which we fully embraced as our canvas for updating the home. The new owners loved the charm, while recognizing their family of five needed some upgrades to make the house function well for them and reflect their personal style. Planning a move from out of state with three children in tow and stressful full time careers, my clients entrusted me with curating selections, coordinating with the build team, and seeing the project across the finish line to make the transition to their new home as successful and smooth as possible.
The results speak for themselves. The kitchen received a full refresh, complete with a matching bar in the connecting dining room. Fireplaces throughout were iced with mosaic marbles to compliment the original woodwork. We converted an awkward loft space in the upstairs hall to a deluxe laundry room and dreamy primary bedroom closet with a pass through to the primary bathroom where we applied color and pattern for just the right balance of interest and calm. We modified the hall bath to a roomy double vanity to better serve the three children with bedrooms abutting it, and added an encaustic hexagon floor tile to add a little whimsy to the existing marble tub and shower enclosure. Even the basement got a mini-remodel to bring the bathroom, family room, and minibar up to date. Nature inspired wallpapers, unique warm brass fixtures, and play with hue and pattern added personality throughout every room in the home. Isn't she lovely?

“Tashia was so helpful, not only from start to finish, but beyond that! I asked Tashia to create an idea board, as I was overwhelmed by the options out there for decor. Tashia was able to take my convoluted description of what I hoped to achieve and distill it to a few beautiful pieces that fit my taste and budget. My project occurred in phases and she continued to guide me throughout the process so I could feel assured that I was making the right choice. She pivoted when needed, was excellent with communication, timely, and wonderful to work with.”
