This Evergreen mountain house recently became the new home of a sweet young family with a modern aesthetic. The 80s build home has breathtaking views and good bones, but the interior was in need of a serious glow-up to reach dream home status.

We balanced matte black and brass metals and dramatic quartz with warm woods, lighting, plaster, and porcelain and ceramic tiles to bring our modern vision to life. Touches of green and gold in various shades brought life to the otherwise neutral palette, mimicking nature outside the prominent windows and skylights throughout the home.

The result is a modern, clean aesthetic with touches of natural whimsy mixed in — always calm and cool but never totally expecting or boring.
