The homeowners of this Congress Park Tudor style home in Denver, Colorado have an artistic flair, along with a deep appreciation for historic homes and neighborhoods.

This is the only bathroom on the main floor of this home, so it serves as the primary bath, kid’s bath, and powder — all in one room. The footprint of the space was on the small side, limiting our options for storage, as well as bath or shower size, so we had to get a little creative in meeting all the needs for the space. One of the exciting opportunities was a vaulted ceiling with skylight.

Ultimately, we settled on a stunning emerald hexagon wainscot wall tile on the sink wall, with a Euro-style wall-mounted sink and a narrow-depth corner cabinet for storage and a bit of extra counter space. Twin black medicine cabinets and historic-looking brass and opal glass double sconces flanked a full-height 72-inch mirror towering toward the skylight, with a playful decorative vanity light on top. A bidet toilet combination added function to the space, and simple matte black hexagon floor tile and white subway shower tile allowed the stars of the space to shine.
